1
You submit an application
You receive an application reference such as TDSA-APP-2026-0001. It confirms the application exists; it is not a membership number.
-
2
TDSA reviews it
An authorised administrator checks your details, looks for an existing record so you are not registered twice, and either approves the application, rejects it with a recorded reason, or asks you for a correction.
-
3
Your permanent number is assigned
On approval TDSA assigns a permanent membership number in the official format: TDSA/B/2026-0001 for a Bachelor's Degree member, TDSA/D/2026-0001 for a Diploma member. B and D keep separate, independent sequences. The year is the year the number was first issued, and the number stays yours for life.

You get your digital card
Approved members sign in to the member area and open their digital membership card, which shows your name, permanent number, programme category, institution or chapter, status and a QR code for verification. Your phone number and email are never printed on it.
Accessing your card
Sign in at Member sign in. The dashboard shows your permanent number, and the card is available once your status is Approved. Pending applications do not have a card.
